THE WHY MUSEUM - Rachel Lynes - Rachel was first seen by WHY Productions in 1995 when she sang a song in the 'Annie' segment of Showstoppers. Laurence Williams, musical director of the show, picked her out among the large cast to perform this song, such was her potential. She left the then-called Oxford Operatic Youth Theatre after that show, to return to play the part of Tallulah in Bugsy Malone for the renamed Musical Youth Company Of Oxford. This show too proved to be a one-off for Rachel, as she has now joined a performing arts college. WHY Productions only briefly worked with Rachel before she left, completing one CD demo. Rachel's debut CD. |
