The aim with premixes was to give a sample of the kind of material Laurence Williams and Phil Young were writing at the time. It was still very early into their converting to CD production and they wanted to be able to send off a proper demo, using tracks not just from Laurence himself, but also from other artists they had begun to work with. While not strictly a Laurence Williams album, this is the best place for it, as some of the tracks on here are very important to the duos growth. Some of the tracks on this album are early unfinished versions of tracks later better known on more established albums. |
