THE WHY MUSEUM - Gill Hallett -
- On My Own -
This was really where it all started. This was the first official CD for Gill. Back When a CD writer cost over £750 and each CD cost over £10. But for us at WHY, it was a massive step forward. No longer putting out tapes, now we were on to CDs. We had been looking for an artist worthy of the investment, and then Gill came along. This debut album for Gill, consisted mainly of songs Laurence Williams had already recorded himself on previous albums, but with a key change, Gill was ready to go. We added a few covers, a few songs from the Hood musical we were writing and a couple of songs we were working on for the Taking What's Mine Soundtrack. All in all, this became a very important CD. This is really where the new phase of WHY Productions began. |
