THE WHY MUSEUM - Gill Hallett -
- Marion -
Gill Was in the middle of her recordings on her own personal albums while we were finishing up the Hood Musical. As we needed demos to send off promoting the show, and for people to learn roles, Gill volunteered to sing the female role of Marion and also a lot of the peasants roles too. In many of the songs, she duets with Laurence Williams (who generally plays the roles of Robin and Robin's Uncle); and also Richard Green. Richard had worked with us before in the Taking What's Mine short movie. It was a shame Richard and Gill never got the opportunity to play the roles of Marion and the Sheriff on stage, as they would have both been perfect. Let me take this opportunity to thank them though for the work they did on this album and helping us in general. |
